ERIN FALAH
Program Associate, the Suder Foundation

Erin Falah joined the Suder Foundation in February, 2010, as a part-time Program Associate. She brings to the position a wealth of knowledge regarding grant and record management, as well as a strong interest in strengthening internal operations and systems.

Falah came to the Dallas area from New York City, where she served as Program Manager of Grants and Contracts for the Legal Aid Society’s Civil Practice Division. She managed a large portfolio of grants awarded from federal, state, city, and foundation funding streams, and became well-acquainted with understanding how economic downturns affected social services within New York.

Having volunteered and worked with disadvantaged youth over the past decade, Falah is well aware of the challenges faced by first-generation college students. She has worked with such organizations as the New York City Police Athletic League and the Monterey County Police Activities League, has mentored through a New York Times youth initiative, and has taught at Living Classrooms Foundation.

Falah holds a Master of Arts degree in public administration from the Monterey Institute of International Studies, and a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in international relations from Goucher College.
