DIANE SCHORR
Executive Director, the Suder Foundation

Utilizing a wealth of experience, Diane Schorr has been responsible for day-to-day operations at the Suder Foundation since joining the organization in December, 2008 as Operations Manager. In addition to operations, her responsibilities include grants management and project management. Schorr became Executive Director of the Suder Foundation in December, 2009.

In addition to her current work, Schorr volunteers at Dallas’s Center for Nonprofit Management as an instructor in the Certificate in Nonprofit Management Program, and has served on the grants committee of the Dallas Women’s Foundation.

Prior to relocating to Texas, Schorr worked as the Staff Counsel and Supply Chain Consultant for Northeast Ohio Sourcing Office, a start-up non-profit organization formed to create and manage group purchasing programs for public-sector entities.

Selected as a 2005–2006 Cleveland Executive Fellow, Schorr participated in the experiential immersion program designed to accelerate the professional development of civic leaders. Throughout the program, she managed projects in the non-profit, government, corporate, and philanthropic sectors. Schorr’s experience also includes managing volunteer service experiences for college students at John Carroll University and practicing disability law.

She holds a Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from John Carroll University.
